When actions speaks louder!

Character plays a major role of inviting mad3u to taqwa. You may be great in delivering speech but your action makes most of the effort of making mad3u conscious of Allah. There was a story of a muslim man. He was raised by a muslim family. But his family’s deen was some kind of complicated. It was totally mixed up with other religion. He grown up in New York and never really practicing Islam at that time. He used to get into fight with his mother, he went to jail, he used to be in mob gangs and all kind of stuff.

Later on, he repented and starts looking for god. As his name was muslim so he started to search about Islam. He started going to masjid and starts learning how to pray. One day his wife [who was not a muslim at that time] realized that his husband had changed. He was praying, beers was gone from the fridge, he was not going out with his drinking buddies and he did not spend his weekend in Atlantic City anymore. He was a different guy! And the guy did not tell anything to his wife. He didn’t even asked the wife to wear hijaab or to pray.

The guy went to meet a scholar in their city. He told the scholar of their current situation that he was becoming more religious and her wife was still a christian. And he did asked for help! The scolar said ‘ Don’t say anything about islam. Just be the best husband you can be and to that, just study what kind of husband that our prophet had shown to us’. In the other word, just follow the sunnah!

At first he did make some argument with her wife about christianity but none of them really worked. 3 years goes by and he stops debating about christianity. He just be what he can be as the best husband. One day as he was making maghrib, his wife joint him in solah! He was totally curious and asked her after solah.

H: What happen?

W: No, nothing..

H: No you have to tell what’s going on.

W: It’s  complicated [like most women said]. Eventually the wife told the husband that she was really amazed with his husband. The way he treated their family. The way he plays with their child. It was totally different. She never saw a man treated their family like he was. Even his father was not so good to her. It was so beautiful. This religion can’t be wrong.

Subhanallah! You can see Islam in the way people communicate and socializing. It was’t just about being in masjid, remembering as many ayah of quran, spits out the knowledge at someone and how many qoutes of scholars you can deliver. It is about how are you living up your life. If people can see that, you are calling them to the taqwa. -UNAK-

I'm not so good when it comes to practical but do pray for me and tell me if I did anything wrong :)

Hagah Lillah

Once there was a blind old begar in the city of Madinah. She spent most of time cursing Muhammad (Pbuh) “Brothers and sisters! Don’t go near Muhammad. He is nothing but an imposter, a witch,  a mad man. If you approach him, you will be under his influence and become like him. ”

When Rasulullah (pbuh) heard about this, he came to him and looked upon him without saying anything. From that day on, Rasulullah began to come to him everyday to tend and feed him without telling him who he was. And the old beggar keep yelling and telling nonsense things abaout Muhammad Pbuh. After Muhammad had passed away, there are nobody to fed the old guy.

One day, Abu Bakr came to visit her daughter Aisha R.A and asked her whether he has left out any daily habits that has been done before by the prophet. Aisyah R.A answered that her father has not done the daily activities of feeding the old beggar on the corner of the Madinah city market.

Hence, Abubakar RA, came to that old beggar to carry the habit of Rasulullah. He began to feed him for a while but then the beggar was annoyed and shouted angrily to Abubakar R.A, “Who are you feeding me?”

“It is I who always come here to feed you”, answer Abubakar.

“No, you’re not! You’re a different person. The man who always comes here, usually grind the food until it is soft enough for me to chew and then feed me gently with his own hand. You didn’t do the same thing and your hands are different.”

Hearing his words, Abubakar could not help himself but cried. He told him, ” The noble man that always came here to feed you was not here anymore. He has left us to his Rabb.”

“Who was this man?”, asked him, with softer voice. “He is Rasulullaah, Prophet Muhammad sallallahu allaihissalaam.”

Hearing this, the man cried unintentionally. When he finally got a grip of himself, he said “So he was the man that I always cursed and insulted but nevertheless he still tended me so gently and dearly. And I never had the chance to ask for his forgiveness. May Allah forgive me for  my sins.” And at that moment in front of Abubakar as Sidiq he cited the syahadat and converted to Islam.

Ibu dan Cinta

During pregnancy, the level of progesterone is high and cause the lower oesophageal spinchter to relax. So, some of the gastric content will be refluxed into the oesophagus and cause heartburn!

Ini belum kira abdominal pain, back pain dll. Tapi kalau kena cubit tuh lain sket kot.. eh?  Ibu ni, sayang kat anak dia walaupun anak dia tak keluar lagi ke dunia. An infant starts to develop their emotional and thinking process at the age of 12 months. Punyalah lama nak tunggu cinta berbalas.

Thanks a lot. May Allah bless you =)

(Surah al-Isra’, ayat 23)

#ibu is just another word for love

#cerkon 1

Hadith:

Kita?
Make a move ! Shift your paradigme.

Love is Cinta

In Islam, it is not a sin if you feel a special affinity or inclination towards a certain individual since human beings have no control on such natural inclinations.
Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and an Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Basically, having an acclination or special affinity towards a certain individual is not haraam. In fact, Allah told us   (Qur’an, 3;14) ‘Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire’  Allah said that feeling attracted towards the opposing gender is something that Allah has programmed in us so it is normal to have that kind of feeling! But on top of it, what do you deal with that?  We are, however, definitely responsible if we get carried away by such feelings and take specific actions that is forbidden. Islam dictates strict rules in the interaction between male and female. The Prophet (sws) has taught us that it is haram for a non-mahram (unrelated) man and a woman to be alone together. He warns that if this happens, Shaytan (satan) will be present with them. The Prophet (sws) said:  “Whenever a man is alone with a woman the Devil makes a third.” (Sahih Bukhari).   When shaytan starts to whisper all the wonderfull things about love, they will fall into the traps of shaytan.

“Do not come close to zina for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road (to other evils).” (Qur’an, 17:32).

Allah do not say  ‘don’t commit  zina’ but don’t ever come near it. One does not simply leave their children on the street hoping that they will not get hit by a car.  One important Islamic principle is: prevention before cure. You do not come close to fire, and then wonder why you got burned. So the solution of the desires is to get married. But marriage is such a complicated things and comes with a lot of great responsibilities. And if the marriage is a result of illecit love relationship like holding each other’s hand, kissing and khilwa.. will loosen up the husband and wife relationship. It is because they had made something which is obviously wrong and built up the foundation of their relationship with the reduced  blessing of Allah.

Besides, these kind of relationship will be a cause to make each party doubful over the other. Is the wife  is having an affair at home while the husband are working pretty hard at the office? And the wife might have the similar thoughts too. Well if the spouse obviously don’t have the fear and loyalty towards Allah why should he or she be fear of His creation? So each partner will live in a state of doubt and suspicion, which will ruin their relationship sooner or later. Marriages that are usually good and lasting marriages are those that start at the least affection. That affection grows after marriage and maybe it will grow until the couples continue their companionship at the Jannah.

A a conclusion, don’t turn love into lust. From what should be a wonderfull relationship to a cursed one by disobeying Allah. Islam taught us that falling in love is not haraam, but the only way of doing it correctly is by marriage. And Allah Subhanah has Himself declared that it is He Who has put love and affection and mercy between the partners in marriage.

And among His Signs is this that He created for you mates from among yourselves,  that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them;  and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts); verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.  (Qur’an, 30:21)

Every products comes out with a manual for it’s users guidance.. Why? Because manufacturer’s knows how the device is gonna work and what is the best for it.. Same goes to us. Allah had put the feeling of love in ourself and the best way to handle it is to follow His guidance.

And Allah knows best.!

Tragedi Subuh!

Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "And if they only knew what was in the prayers of 'Isha' and Subh [fajr], they would come to them even if they had to crawl." [Agreed upon]

Even the highest profession like phisician, architects have to go for refresher seminars and reviews.  So as a muslim, you’ve internalised this really deep profound thing, where do you get your review?

Through solah. Solah is an opportinity for us to refresh our faith constantly. Solah is a pillar of our faith, and there is no such thing as doing too much to ensure that this pillar stands. But the point is waking up for solatul fajr is a kind of hard. It’s more like a tragedy. Most muslim’s spend their night doing unnecessary things and end up waking in the afternoon the next day.

So, this are few tips that might help you to be the soldier’s of Allah in the early morning!

Know who Allah is: This is the key. If you know Who you’re worshipping, you will make him the first instead of dunya. Set in your mind that  He requests that you get up in the morning and pray to Him, you’ll wake up.

Discipline yourlife: Go to sleep early. Don’t spend the whole night watching movies, hanging aroud with your friends till midnight, watching islamic lectures till 2 a.m in the morning. Give the night life up. Let the night be for sleep. At least you are not accumulating sins every night. At least you are not burying your heart with more sins than what you do during the day. At least you are innocent for that moment. If it’s convinient the to take a nap in the afternoon which is also a sunnah and aids in causing a person to wake up for Fajr.

Wudu before sleep: Ibn Abbas reported that Allah’s Messenger said: “Purify these bodies and Allah will purify you, for there is no slave who goes to sleep in a state of purity but an Angel spends the night with him, and every time he turns over, [the Angel] says, ‘O Allah! Forgive Your slave, for he went to bed in a state of purity.” Do you think that such a person would be left to oversleep and miss fajr?

Sincerity: Be sincere about waking up for fajr, don’t just say to yourself: “InshaAllah, it’ll be nice if I wake up for fajr” be sincere about it, and say: “I will wake up for fajr” I find it useful sometimes to talk to myself about it before going to sleep and say: “I will wake up for fajr, i don’t care how, but I’ll definitely will!” And remember to place your alarm further away than the normal. If you used to put it besides you, make it in the living room.

It has a spiritual impact that only people who go to the masjid can feel it. It cannot be explained by words. When you woke up early, you came to the masjid, you ask for Allah’s forgiveness in that early morning, you recite quran and then you stand beside the other believer and countless army of angels, and you stand in front Allah. The spiritual impact is SubhanAllah. The kind of you wish you can do it everyday. But if only you woke up early and give up your night life! -Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan.

Unsung Hero

Namun, Rasulullah S.A.W agak keberatan untuk membenarkannya. Selepas puas memujuk Rasulullah membenarkannya untuk melaungkan azan Subuh.

Sewaktu ingin menunaikan Solat Zohor, “penduduk langit”  iaitu malaikat turun untuk bertemu Baginda S.A.W dan bertanya kepadanya’  “Wahai Rasulullah, adakah kamu tidak solat Subuh pagi tadi??”.
Baginda menjawab, “Sudah tentunya aku Solat Subuh pagi tadi.”

Malaikat berkata lagi, “tetapi mengapa kami tidak mendengar azan dilaungkan Subuh tadi??”
Baginda terus berkata, “Bukan Bilal Bin Rabah yang melaungkan azan Subuh pagi tadi tapi sahabatku yang lain.”

Rasa berat hati Rasulullah S.A.W benar-benar ada sebabnya.

Itulah tanda keikhlasan Bilal Bin Rabah.

Kisah Saad bin Muaz
